Dr. Les Chui is clinic director of Back & Body Wellness.  He directs massages and manual therapies at Back & Body. Les served as chiropractor at Burke Williams Day Spa on Santana Row in San Jose for 6 years where he provided treatment for spa guests as well as serving as staff doctor to spa employees.  Through this partnership, he has learned to blend massage with clinical therapies to effectively help clients achieve fast results in pain and tension reduction while providing soothing and relaxing treatments.


In addition, Les worked 2 years in a medical pain clinic treating athletes and individuals with chronic or repetitive stress.  He has worked with current and former professionals in the NFL, NHL, MLB and extreme sports.

Ali Lopez, CMT

Experience:  4 years


Ali is a graduate of National Holistic Institute's 900-hour core program.  Her experiences as a former collegiate athlete led her to discover a love for massage and bodywork.  Her passion for helping people find relief from stress and injuries drives her to continually educate herself within the field of massage.

In her spare time, Ali enjoys tacos, puppies, cooking and creating artwork.

Briana Daniel, CMT

Clinical Massage Therapist Lead

Specialties: Deep Tissue, Sports, Myofascial Release, PNF stretching, Trigger point therapy

Experience: 8 years 

Briana is a licensed Massage Therapist who graduated at the top of her class from Cortiva Institute of Muscle Therapy in King of Prussia, PA. Briana's background also includes having worked on participants of the Philadelphia Insurance Triathlon, Philadelphia Marathon, The Broad Street Run and volunteering for other community events. When she is not massaging, Briana practices her exercise routines and participates in annual obstacle/mud runs while also exploring other aspects of fitness.  Embracing her passion for cooking, she is constantly discovering new ways to healthy eating, exploring different cultural customs, methods, and techniques of cooking. Currently, Briana is pursuing a curriculum to apply bodywork to mental/behavioral health therapies and will continue working on developing a plan to form the wellness community of her dreams!  

Courtney Joseph, CMT ANMT

Courtney is a certified Advanced Neuromuscular Massage Therapist. Courtney graduated from National Holistic Institute with over 1300 hours of  training.


She is a compassionate and creative individual that loves nature and burritos.

Andrea is a recent graduate of a 1,300 program for Advanced Neuromuscular Massage Therapy. She has an intuitive, drawn touch with a kind heart & smile. She loves helping her clients in their journeys to a better, healthy living.

In her spare time, Andrea enjoys a love for burritos and soup, particularly posole parties.

Lisa Esquivel, CMT ANMT

Experience: 1 year


Lisa is a graduate of National Holistic Institute’s 1250-hour Advanced Neuromuscular Therapist program. She is very passionate about pain management and learning new things about the human body.


In her spare time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family, reading, going on walks, and of course, food.

Alyssa Villanueva, CMT ANMT

Alyssa is a certified Advanced Neuromuscular Massage Therapist. Alyssa graduated from National Holistic Institute with over 1300 hours of  training. Her background in sports and athletics is what drives her to help others continue doing what they love to do. She is continuing her education and currently working towards her degree in kinesiology.  

In her spare time, Alyssa likes to stay as active as possible. She loves to go on hikes, bike rides, and rock climbing. And any chance she gets, she loves to work on cars and takes them to the track.

Monica has honed her expertise in administrative support and office management in a variety of professional settings, including small businesses, federal and local government agencies, and institutions of higher education. She is excited to apply what she's learned in a place where her professional skill set and her personal passion for holistic healthcare intersect. 


When she's not working, she can be found on local hiking adventures with her rescue dog Olliver or cozying up at home with a book.
